The event is dedicated to the music and memory of one of the greatest musical performer to have ever lived, Robert Nesta Marley. I invite you to join the celebration as Bracebridge comes alive with the sound of reggae music, the sweet aroma of Caribbean food and the many vendors’ booths decked out with a variety of craft and other products.

Overview

“celebrating the music of Bob Marley”

This is the perfect escape from the city to enjoy Roots, Rock, Reggae music in the heart of Muskoka.   The festival  has many food vendors supplying Caribbean food with an emphasis on foods from Jamaica, Bob Marleys’ native land. There are also craft vendors with a wide variety of Caribbean and African crafts.

The festival ensures that the roots, earthy message of Bob Marley and reggae music are reflected in every aspect of the even,t including the way it respects the environment.  This will guide the operation of the festival, giving visitors an experience that is fun, exciting, and green.

The wide line up of Reggae performers include Errol Blackwood, House of David, Fingaz, Korexxion, Tanya P, Moses Revolution, Matrixx, Shalli and Laza with Jam Iyah is sure to give festrival goers an unforgettable musical experience.

This is an event for the entire family.

Volunteer

Putting together an event such as Reggae Muskoka takes a lot of work and would not be possible without the hard work of volunteers. The event on August 20 -21, 2011 promises to be a lot of fun. Join the volunteer team and experience the music that Bob Marley made popular around the world.
